This week’s euro-meteor is just the latest of many Economist covers devoted to the impending European debt crisis. The first was in May last year—no few inventive depictions of doom and despair have followed. Browse more (and read the stories) at this link.
Even with these hyperbolic magazine covers, I don’t think Americans even know, let alone care, about the European debt crisis and the breaking up of the euro.
However, that’s mainly because most Americans don’t read the Economist. Or any other mags that so forcefully cover the crisis. This kinda reminds of the recent Time cover drama.
